Educoe is a long day care service. This means we operate for long hours during the day, to give you flexibility. We operate from Monday to Friday, so you can choose the days of care that suit you best.
Educoe is a Preschool that offers the added benefit of longer hours and extended weeks of operation throughout the year. We are open during the school holidays, only closing for 2 weeks over Christmas.
Educoe is open from Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 6:00pm, for 50 weeks of the year. We do not operate on Public Holidays. Pick up and drop off times are flexible, which means you can pick up and drop off your child at any time during our hours of care.
Yes. Educoe is just 1km from Revesby train station, and is close to bus stops.
Educoe provides care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.
We offer a premium service with competitive fees. Please contact us for more information.
All activities and experiences, including regular Preschool outings. Educoe provides 5 meals a day, from breakfast through to late snack, as well as toileting and hygiene needs (including nappies, wipes and Sudocrem), and sunscreen.
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a means tested payment that is paid directly to our service, and is passed on to families as a fee reduction. If you are entitled to CCS, you will need to provide us with CRN numbers in order for us to claim this benefit on your behalf.

Educoe has an on-site Chef who will create healthy, fresh meals for your child to enjoy. We provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. We will support your child to develop a healthy relationship with food right from the very beginning, with our nutritional 4-week menu. You will receive a daily summary of what and how much your child ate.
Learning to use the toilet is a process that takes time. We will support your child on this journey, and trust that they will learn this when they are ready.

The waiting list is reviewed regularly. However, it is a good idea to keep us up to date with your care needs, as they are likely to change over time. As soon as a position becomes available, we will contact you to discuss enrolment.
Casual days are available for existing families that have a permanent booking. They are subject to availability.
At Educoe, you will be involved in your child’s journey right from the beginning. Your child’s Primary Caregiver will have meaningful conversations with you, about your child’s interests and experiences at Educoe. We also keep you informed through:
- Informal conversations
- Formal meetings
- Floorbooks (big books that document and track learning), and
- Individual story books, which tell your child’s story
- Storypark for Families
Storypark for Families – What is this?
At Educoe, we use an online communication portal known as Storypark. Storypark is one of many ways we will document your child’s learning.
We will support you by:
- Ensuring all staff are well informed about your child’s health needs
- Undertaking special training that may be needed to help care for your child
- Developing clear procedures for managing your child’s allergy or other heath need
- Sharing information with you about your child’s care and experiences at Educoe
You can support us with this by:
- Explaining your child’s health need before you enrol them, and ensuring we are kept informed as your child’s health needs change
- Provide contact details of any health professionals working with your child, as well as reports and supportive documentation that will help us to better support your child
- Working in partnership with us to develop individual care plans for your child
- Keeping us informed along the way.

Educoe is an inclusive service that welcomes all children, regardless of their abilities.
Starting care may be a new experience for you, and you may be uncertain about what to expect. It takes time to feel confident, and to trust that your child’s wellbeing and education is our priority. When you begin to trust, your child will too, and they will become increasingly confident to explore and discover in this new place.
Our orientation process is flexible so we can cater for the individual needs of every family.
At Educoe, the educators lead with passion. It is their passion that drives their commitment to achieving the very best quality of care for all children. That is not just limited to the children in our community – they are advocates for all children, and the rights of every child. They always have the child at the centre of everything they do.
We value consistent care, and know that this can only be achieved when our teaching team is stable. We invest in our educators by supporting them to engage in further study, and creating opportunities for them to enhance their professional knowledge and expertise. Qualifications matter, but they are not the sole measure of a quality team.
The NQF was introduced in 2012, and improves education and care across early childhood education settings.
The NQF includes:
- The National Law and National Regulations.
- The National Quality Standard (NQS). The NQS sets a high benchmark for early childhood education and care services.
- The Assessment & Rating Process, providing each service with a Quality Rating.
- National Learning Frameworks – The Early Years Learning Framework is our guiding curriculum document, and provides the basis of our educational program.
Services are assessed and quality rated by their regulatory authority, against the National Quality Standard. Services are required to display their quality ratings. As a new service, Educoe has not yet been assessed and provided with a Quality Rating.

The Framework forms the foundation for ensuring that children in all early childhood education and care settings experience quality teaching and learning. It has a specific emphasis on play-based learning and recognises the importance of communication and language (including early literacy and numeracy) and social and emotional development.
NSW ratios for early childhood education and care centre-based services are:
Birth – 2 years = 1 staff member to every 4 children
2 – 3 years = 1 staff member to every 5 children
3 – 6 years = 1 staff member to every 10 children
At Educoe, we provide increased ratios. We go above and beyond what is required.
Our Quality Improvement Plan describes our strengths as a service, and the areas that we have identified for improvement. It is a living document that grows with our service, and is a reflection of our continuous commitment to quality.
Embarking on this journey can be daunting, not only for your child, but for you too. Knowing the right way to approach this can be tricky. You’re not alone – we will be there by your side along the way. Find out more how you can help your child settle into care.
Following enrolment you will be provided with a detailed list of items to pack in your child’s bag each day. Meanwhile, here is a general guide to help:
- At least 2 changes of clothes (accounting for all seasons/weather changes). Please ensure that these are clearly labelled.
- Named water bottle
- A SunSafe hat that covers your child’s face, neck and ears. You can also purchase these from us.
- Dummy in a sealed, named container (if required)
- Bottles, if required (clearly labelled)
- Formula or expressed breast milk (if required)
- Cot sized sheets and a blanket, if your child rests during the day
- If your child has a comfort item (blanket, soft toy) that supports them to rest, please pack this.
As a SunSafe organisation, we provide Cancer Council SPF50+ Kids Sunscreen. However, if your child has sensitive skin, please feel free to provide your preferred brand.
As recommended by the Cancer Council of Australia, widespread use of sunscreen on babies under 6 months old is not recommended. Physical protection such as shade, clothing and broad-brimmed hats are the best sun protection measures for children of this age.
Under NSW government legislation, only children who are fully immunised for their age, have a medical reason not to be immunised, or are on a catch-up schedule, can be enrolled in childcare. We cannot enrol children who have not been immunised due to their parent’s vaccine conscientious objection. As part of the enrolment process, we will require appropriate immunisation documentation.
